Seems like forever ago. Two years ago- on May 19th-
I set up an Etsy shop…well set it up with a name, and no items.
I think some loved ones encouraged me to, but I didn’t
really tell anyone about wanting to do it and truth be told I had quite a bit
of self-doubt that needed to be worked through.
Well here it is two years later. I have to say I still have little
twinges of self- doubt- a little nagging critic voice that says- “Who do you
think you are blahblahblahblah...” The
voice it’s still there but I’m getting better at quieting the it, and many of
the folks that read and comment here have helped me with that – I am so
grateful for the community that blogging encourages.
So this is it -the official grand opening of MY Etsy Shop.
(trumpets blare here) You’ll be able to get a sneak peak at what I’m playing
with and working on, here on the blog, and you’ll be able to see listings in the
side bar over there to the right. Know that mostly I value you being here as a
reader- no strings attached- please don’t feel like you are obliged to make a
purchase, but if you see something you like I hope you will.

The chickens have also reached a milestone. Six weeks with us and just starting to venture out of the barn. To celebrate we have given them names- though to be honest I'm still having trouble telling them apart. To document this momentous occasion I offer this slideshow.

I think that you are going to be an amazing shop owner! You can totally do it, and I'm certainly rooting for you. Your little chicks are growing up so fast!!
