Christmas Knitting

I was really excited to have some time in December to make a few gifts. I’ve wanted to make these slipper socks for Larry for quite some time. The leather soles were purchased several years ago and the pattern is from a vintage sock-knitting leaflet my brother gave me. Check out the illustration of the lounging couple below - just what I imagine us looking like. Anyway… it was a bit tricky to get them knit without him seeing them and I confess I was still stitching the soles to the knitting on Christmas Eve, but I did get them done and he loved them. They are Blue and Maize after all and that’s all that matters to a Michigan fan.
